Lovely, just lovely. I like how you used the old fic and added to it to form this chapter. It fits perfectly. The soft little scene between Danny and Al was adorable and you can never go wrong with vines up edward's ass. :) LOved it as usual

Thank you, sweetheart! It doesn't look like much changed from the original story, but it went from first person present tense to past tense third person. Took forever to change it over! I'm glad it worked and that you liked it. You are such a sweetheart.

Aww I like being a sweetheart. Changing tenses is the hardest part about writing. Once it's set in a tense, figuring out how to reword it without losing context is complicated. You did an excellent job.

I loved the original fic, but this one owns me. It's beautiful and wondeful and sweet. Ross is perfect. She doesn't get nearly enough love, Fletcher and Al's closeness is so damned cuteAnd Danny and Al are so precious I just melt. Mustang made me laugh. Ed being such an ass and Russel's patience about it just shows how deep their love is.

I'm thrilled to little pieces that you liked this installment. Ed is a right pain in the ass all through it, for sure, and he doesn't get much better anytime soon. Russel needs all the love he can get, married to a guy like that.

It's the new Amestris fashion trend -- vine underwear!

The previous version of this was lovely, but this is just beyond gorgeous. The little additions with Danny and Al are just so very sweet -- Al may have lost the chance to become a State Alchemist, but he gained so, so much more.

And Russell's plant alchemy talents for the WIN!

So ... if Russel became a State Alchemist, would he have been the Undewear Alchemist? Or, perhaps, should he go into the fashion industry, marketing Eden's Secret instead of Victoria's secret?

betcha vines are more comfortable than most of the VS underwear out there ...

I'm glad you liked this chapter, hon. Re-reading it, did it strike you as ballsy of Al to kiss Danny with his brother *right there*? I kinda squinted at that, but then I was in a hurry so I left it alone.

i watched fma last night when i got home from perkins, and it had danny in it, and i squealed a little thinking of what him and al would be doing once al got his body back, because i'm a perv...

i loved this re-make of this. it's just too cute with what you added in. and the vines up the ass... well.. that's just too classic. ^_^

*snicker* The remake was a total pain in the ass, not unlike those underwear. Originally, it was first person and present tense, so I had to change all the "I" to "he" or "Russel" or "Edward," and all the "is" to "was," etc., and had to take out some of the personal internal monologue ... you get the picture. You have no idea just how glad I am that it worked and was worth it.

*snuggles* Thank you so much for reading and commenting. What I wouldn't give for a chocolate shake from Perkins right now .... mmm.
