Review:
Ookiku Furikabutte is one of the ugliest anime I've ever watched, art-wise, and its focus is one of the most boring sports ever invented, but nonetheless I thoroughly enjoyed it. Yes, it's got lots - LOTS - of gay subtext, and yes I've gotten more mileage out of that than I care to admit on most days, but what really sticks with me about Ookiku is that it's an equally good series for those who like boys-love and those who don't. The plot's decent, the voice-acting is very good, and the character development is really second-to-none. Plus, it's got kids with parents and homework who act like they're kids in high school playing baseball together. No unexplained orphans running around. No saving the world. No super powers. Just kids playing ball. Very refreshing, and definitely worth checking out.

List of all series I've watched can be found here.
