You probably wouldn't guess that getting a craft book would make fanfiction happen faster, but the way my brain is wired up, that's precisely what happened. I got a book on how to mod t-shirts (Generation T), got all excited, and bam! Wrote chapter nine of TSAATSD.

Only it wasn't chapter nine, it was chapter ten, but I didn't know that until I got ( Read more... )

Two part comment reply in one comment thing. *blinks* and if you can follow the logic in that one you are by far more quick witted then I am.

I don't have cable, I don't want to mess around with introductory rates vs non introductory rates, finding the best deal and so on and so forth. I'll stick with my rabbit ears and dvd collection. Not to mention the piles of books and magazines I've got in the bedroom.

As far as the game thing goes which you mentioned in the reply to my comment on chapter 10, if it's a video game or some such similar thing; nope haven't played it because right now I'm up to my neck in a curious pile of what the hell was I thinking stuff (and prepping for South Carolina) I'd love to eventually learn more about it, but seeing it from your perspective (and a realistic point of view for what it is) is refreshing and I say screw canon because canon is usually just a jumping off point. May I point out how many different versions of fanon there are out there and not all of them are widely accepted due to realism issues.

I shall now let you return to your regularly scheduled muse feeding. Good luck with the job front.

Haha, no point in having cable when there are DVDs, right? Stuff's expensive, and it's money down the drain if "nothing's on."

Plus, there's JCon. You should come back and see us, we miss you. ;_;

I'm glad to know that you're enjoying this without canon background. As a writer, I'm enjoying it too, which is the point of fanfiction, yes? Good times all around.

*smooch* Fingers crossed on The Perfect Job, for which I am right now applying! :D

If it weren't for the awesomeness of my employee discount, I wouldn't have half the dvd's I do. And most of the time I think I'm either sleeping or listenting to music and bouncing about my apartment like a fuzzy on crack.

As far as JCon goes, I'd love to come and visit but I'm usually scheduled for weekends... and until I know exactly when we are getting another manager hired on they'll load me up based on the work performance of the other part timers. I did go and read the Battle Royale JCon style stuff (a bit, I think I was bored at the moment but it made me giggle)

My love to everyone there during the summer months and now I shall go and get some sleep before parade.
