Yeah, i knew this arc wouldn't make the Yuuram shippers very happy, but ... I dunno, I still just don't think Yuuri will ever love Wolfram in a sexual manner, going off of canon. Ah well.

Well! As a fan of the anime and of Yuuri and Wolfram, I have to say despite the different pairing, I did like this arc! It was brief but very good, and I liked the subtlety and descriptions. I agree though that gay men don't have have to have ONE love and that's it. So, I rather liked this chapter; it was a good finish to the arc.

Well, true, it's not, but it's a better ending than "Wolf-Yuuri-Lady" becoming a threesome. I think, as I've watched near-to-the-end of KKM, Yuuri and Wolfram grow up a lot more, and they learn to appreciate each other more and more. Keeping in mind that Yuuri isn't an adult at the end of the series, I think he'd do a lot more growing up. Yuuri-at-16 is not interested in a relationship with Wolfram, romantically, but Yuuri-at-23? It could happen. Or not. I do like this ending though.

I, too, wanna snuggle Yuuri's son. But Wolf got Greta, right? *wink*

See, my argument there is that a 16-year-old is WAY more likely to indiscriminately shove his cock into something warm, willing, and non-lethal than a 23-year-old is. So if Wolfram were going to get some from Yuuri, he'd likely've gotten it from Yuuri in the earlier parts of the series. I mean, think about it: Yuuri's young, scared, alone ... if he had any inclination towards sexual interaction with men, Wolfram's advances would've been met with something other than disgust. Maybe not sexual intercourse, but at least some kissing, maybe some petting.

i still think 'concubines for all!' would have been a fun ending, but not reaslly fair to poor girl-the-unnnamed and sgt. allen.
It's not quite 'happily ever after', but it will do, and is much more realistic that 'happily ever after' would be.
also, i want to hug yuuri's son, because he'll probably have huuuge black eyes and look really cute in a dress. >>;;

You know, I almost went with that, where Yuuri and Wolfram were married, in name, but not in action. But I didn't like the implication, however small, that gay men are incapable of meaningful, monogamous relationships, so I steered clear of it. Paranoid? Why yes, I am. *twitch*

Yuuri's son would be a complete brat, I'm pretty sure. Betcha Morgif would be his friend and teach him to raise all holy hell in the castle. Also: can you say godfathers? Look at the men living in that castle. Honestly. ^_~

I really think this is a realistic ending that fits this pairing. I loved it. Sure it's nice to pretend that one day Yuuri suddenly realizes that he wants Wolfram's peen.... >_> But this fits a bunch better. <3<3<3

See the diatribe answer to faerie_speak ... a 16-year-old boy is MUCH more likely to go for a peen, if so inclined, than an adult. I think Wolfram's chance for Yuuri!peen disappeared as Yuuri grew older. XD

Mmm. I'm sorry this left you feeling unresolved, hon! As for Yuuri's punishment ... he's the Maoh. He screws up ALL THE TIME in the anime, and NO ONE ever kicks his ass (which pisses me off, I'd love to knock some sense into him). So I suppose that's where that came from.

Also, I suppose you could look at it as his guilt over Wolfram--because Wolfram's pride and heart are still very hurt, even years later--as partially his punishment. Also, the brothers are never going to truly forgive him. They'll still serve him, but I don't think it will be the same, ever. But that's just my interpretation. ^^
