It's not quite 'happily ever after', but it will do, and is much more realistic that 'happily ever after' would be.
also, i want to hug yuuri's son, because he'll probably have huuuge black eyes and look really cute in a dress. >>;;

Yuuri's son would be a complete brat, I'm pretty sure. Betcha Morgif would be his friend and teach him to raise all holy hell in the castle. Also: can you say godfathers? Look at the men living in that castle. Honestly. ^_~

Also, I suppose you could look at it as his guilt over Wolfram--because Wolfram's pride and heart are still very hurt, even years later--as partially his punishment. Also, the brothers are never going to truly forgive him. They'll still serve him, but I don't think it will be the same, ever. But that's just my interpretation. ^^
