Wow . . . it's a good thing Nash lives in this continuity, Belsio would have been eaten alive by his guilt over his prior selfish feelings if he hadn't! But those feelings are definitely understandable -- Belsio was terrified of losing the love of his life to fame and fortune, and now he faces losing him to something worse. A *lot* of power in a short piece here!

Poor Belsio. He's such a minor character in canon, then I go and make him a miserable old man when I write him. There's no justice in this world, I swear.

I'm so glad you liked this, though, hon! Yeah, guilt would have killed Belsio, had Nash died ... and really, that would've been Nash's fault. Belsio's reactions are understandable, I think. *nods*

Thanks for reading! ♥

John has spent most of his young adult and middle adult life waiting and pining away for Nash. And the stupid bastard takes him in every time. How many times has Nash come and gone over the decades? I nominate John for Saint Hood. What happened to Nash that John is carrying his broken body from somewhere outside?

Mmm, Belsio's pretty much an enabler, isn't he? I changed that in the original version of him with Nash (now Greg) because it bothered me. Original John has lovers after Greg leaves him, and he and Greg remain friends over the years that Greg is away and married.

As for what happened ... I don't think that's explained, actually, until "Keeping Secrets." You'll have to wait and see!! XD ♥

Poor John, he's wanted Nash for so long he doesn't know what to do with himself now that he has him there.

There's a lot of deep-felt emotions is this ficlet, so I once again, I bow in awe of your ability to say so much with so few words.

But I have a question...what is wrong with Nash to have him in need of a doctor and john afraid he will die??

Heehee! You gotta read the whole arc to find out! XD

(I actually did that on purpose: in this story, John doesn't know what's wrong with Nash either, doesn't find out 'til later. I wanted this to just feel like urgency and fear and confusion ... maybe I didn't pull it off right. =_=)

I'm glad you liked this, sweetie! Thanks for reading! ♥

poor man. words are important, and it's sad that he uses the harsh words and sort of drives nash away.

and it tough enough having stupid hair, you have to make him all mopey and abandoned too? ^_0
at least they do get some kind of happiness and he gets his nash back.

*sings* "No one knows what it's like to be the bad man; to be the sad man; behind dumb hair ..." Makes me want to do a whole spoof of the song now, you know? XD

Yeah, they're suffering here. But as you said, they do get their happiness, in the end, and maybe it's sweeter because of the suffering?

Thanks for reading, dear! ♥
