Today is not a good day for science film and theatre.
Firstly, my t-shirt of joy has shrunk! It was my awesome new long, black t-shirt which allowed me to wander around comfortably without being scantily clad and now after a wash, it's shrunk to normal t-shirt size and the pattern has almost gone! :( I know this is a bit of a silly thing to be moaning about, but i loved that t-shirt! And though i can still wear it (just as a normal t-shirt this time) it's just not the same......i think i would feel a lot more positive if i didn't have an essay of doom to complete. Also for some unknown reason, the tv i've had since i was 14 has up and died for no reason. This isn't as much of a tragedy as i thought cos it just means that i can't play my ps2 in my room anymore (luckily, Tom's ps3's backwards compatible, even to ps1 games!) and the wii will have to migrate to the living room. I can play DvDs on the laptop so at least my course wouldn't have to suffer (yeah.....my course requires me to study and analyse films on DvD.....just in case you're getting confused) BUT the plan to watch 'It's a wonderful Life' with Tom has been SHATTERED. As i have the colour version on video. I could buy a DvD, but i'm worrying about the already huge xmas expenses and i can't replace ALL my videos with DvDs! That would be insane.....
On the upside, Tom came in to see how i was doing and said he'd pick me up a new t-shirt in town today. He also gave me the rest of his Sourball candy saying it would 'Help make essay's easier'. He's so sweet sometimes....i feel kind of sucky that i wasn't actually writing my essay but posting on here instead...oops....He's still lovely though <3
If all goes well, the longest essay shall be done today! meaning i will have three days to my 2000 word one (which is better than it sounds because the one today is on musicals-which i know a lot about now-and the 2000 word one is on 'A Maiden of Cheapside' for Renaisscance Drama-of which i know NOTHING *Is shamed* )
Anyways! Onto 'Singin' in the Rain'........
