News time children!:

*I had an interview at Starbucks yesterday for a Barista position with chance of promotion.

*Tom had swine flu, he's ok now though! :)

*My throat is killing me, it's all dry and sore :(

*There is a possibility of new people moving in but it's not definite and i have no idea how it would work.

Ooooh, who might be moving in? I suppose if Tom sacrificed his study that'd work but I doubt he's up for that! Do tell me the gossip. :)

I hope you don't have The Flu (or indeed The Fly, as I originally typed) and good luck with Starbucks! You can get me cheap caramel frappes and I can do my language work during your shift to keep you company. :D

Possibly 'other' Rachel, the music student and friend from Childs who went around the world fro 5 months. Apparently her mother is driving her nuts and threatening the chance of her getting married to her fiance. It's very much all up in the air though.

I really hope i don't have the Fly either, that would suck. I'm just planning on going to work and leaving it up to them on whether or not i should be there in this state.
I really really hope Starbucks works out, fingers cross (I get a third off coffee and half price food if it does!) Just waiting for a phonecall now!

Anyways, what's going on with you? Figured out what you're doing for your dissertation yet?

I have neither met nor heard of this Other Rachel. Is she prettier than me? Is she charasmatic, a domestic goddess? Do I have to kill her ( ... )

Oooh i forgot about perveter!Aslan! lols :D

You feel bad because you haven't done uni work one day during the summer hols? 0.o indeed...

The fly is pretty much gone, just full of grossness now, hopefully my throat will be normal soon. It doesn't hurt but i am croaky Mcfrogwoman.

Of course i binned the rug! Well dad did. It is currently languishing in the Oxford service stations.

I like that you wrote 'I don't agree with me either' lols! XD

'I blew him on the wind...' O RLY ASLAN?

Yes, yes I do. And I'm not doing any work today either, it would seem. I blame the drills waking me up. :(

Can you at least pass the croak off as a sexy husk?

Glad the rug was binned! Tell me of the hilarious Reading happenings that I've doubtlessly missed?

Aslan would blow us ALL on the wind if he had half a chance!

I can honestly say that there hasn't really been any significantly hilarity recently. Everything's just really mellow. Though I found out that there are wild deer in the cemetrey, two of them looked at me on the way hone-WTF wild deer in the middle of town?!

I have to hand in my written resignation today. I'm slightly putting off because we recently had a meeting that was all 'We can do anything if we stick together yadayada' and now I feel awkward essentially going 'Teamwork? KTHNXBAI!' and pissing off over the sunset. GAK I HATE QUITTING!

I did a creepy little girl laugh at Aslan's blowing habit. [I wrote habuit, and geekishly noted that's a latin word - means he/she/it had], oh Aslan, how were you *raised?*

Ah yes, the Monkshood deer, or something? I met them around this time last year! There are three of them, and they are loooovely. Fancy a walk around the graveyard when I return? I love graveyards. I made Vez walk around it one dark night - we freaked ourselves out and actually screamed at an unexpected!angel...er, made of stone.

Yay for no longer working in hell though! Starbucks will be a glooooorious change. Though probably busier, with a heightened risk of coffee burns! When do you start Starbuckians?
