Look out for the truck!
Yesterday was so much fun! After having cake and ice cream we went out to my dads house to let the kids ride. We even managed to get Aliyah back on after breaking her arm back in March. It was so much fun to watch them. Xavier needs the practice since he will start racing soon. He did good except for running into the big green metal gate that my dad has at the end of his driveway. After that he made it back up to the house before losing control trying to turn around. He gave the bike too much gas and tried to turn and went right into my dads truck. Thank goodness it was the work truck and not his nice SUV. My dad laughed so hard I thought he would break a rib!! It was great. After that we decided it would be fun to scare the kids. They were outside walking to get something out of the car and my dad picked up a box and tossed it out at them. Now keep in mind they are all city kids and my dad lives about 45 minutes from any large city. Not too mention it was almost dark. So the box falls right behind them and Shaunta ditches everyone and takes off up the stairs. David said she didn't touch but two steps on her way up. Aliyah never went all the way down. Then the girls went in the bathroom and my dad beat on the window and scared them and they took off out the house and on to the porch. It was sooo much fun. After that I decided to sneak around back and come around the other side to scare them, but David saw me leave and decided to scare me. He came around the corner and screamed and I just about jumped 10 feet up to the top of the porch. Next month we are looking at buying another bike for me David and Shaunta to ride. I can't wait. We are going to take them out to my dads house so we can ride all we want. The family that rides together stays together!!
