we prayed for the hurricane so we could have ONE day out of school... was that one day worth all the lives that the hurricane took and is STILL taking?? its 9/11 all over again. many are dead, or like hundreds were with 9/11, missing. there is like no government in new orleans. and since 95% of them are black they are taking it personally and they think its a discrimination. b/c there are so many african americans that are hurting from this, and with they are takin it all, it very well could lead to a civil war of some sort. police have fled and people are litterally getting away with murder!! they are shooting police b/c they arent helping them fast enough. they are savaging around the city murdering and raping women and CHILDREN just b/c they kno they can get away with it!! now this may not mean much to u b/c u think ur not envolved.... but u ARE. wether u believe in adam and eve and the christian explanation to our creation or not, i think many will agree that we did all come from the same "parents" wether it be monkies or wut ever ur explanation is. my point is we are brothers and sisters... we originated from the same place, yet we're letting this divide us?!? satan did a doosey on us with this storm... and we are falling right in to his trap and our country is falling apart around us, especially the south. im southern and proud of it! i dont want ppl to have just one more reason to not like us. the south will rise... well not if we keep acting like this. this is so devastating and frustrating!! many that were in ICU in the hospitals down there have died b/c there is no fresh water, and no electricity, which most rely on for the supply of oxygen. thousands are dead, lost, trapped, or sharing a cot in a HUGE room with some stranger. heres another thing to ponder. terrorist are all around us. they arent all neccesarily islamic... some are black, some are asain, some are upper class whites. there could be ppl in louisiana that are terrorists wether with a group or on there own that are taking advantage of this situation!! but then on the other hand its bringing our courntry together and people in CALIFORNIA are offering there homes to victims of the storms. schools are opening there doors. and gah i could go on and on.... buuuut.... i wont... just try to be compassionate about this situation. what if u were a helpless citizen in the hospital and suddenly couldnt breath b/c there was no electricity, what if u were one of the little kids being raped by a sick mofo, what if u had lost everything? dont take wut u have for granted...
