Egads, art!
I'm arting a bit more again which I suppose is a good sign... Still not quite doing the things I should be doing, but anyway, baby steps.
I can thank Pixelbrush for my newfound mojo too, I'm starting to really like the place, even though I'm still a bit hesitant to get as involved as I could be... I suppose those old burns are still there X)
Finally gone back to check on this one and after getting some pointers from some PB members I'm going to remake the whole background from scratch I think... Especially considering I managed to screw up the light source *facedesk*
I've no WiP on it just yet though.
Portrait of my current Warhammer roleplaying character, a journeyman wizard by the name Niniel Theronï. Was trying to go for a typical warhammer elf and I think I mostly made it... If she should be completely typical she should have more angled eyes, but I liked how these turned out so couldn't be arsed X)
And slapped some color on... Not all that good, but it's my first time using a greyscale image as base which was... different... o.O
And last for now, a 30 minute speed paint. Going to try to do some more speed paints and studies and such as my inspiration allows... No reference used for this one but I think it turned out alright. Shows how iffy I am at linework though >.<
I screwed up with my current illustrations contact too, which was rather... Stupid of me.
With any luck I might be able to salvage things, but I'm not holding my breath. Right now I'm just finishing up the last image then we'll see I suppose.
At least I got my CV and letter off to one of the local industries (thank goth I got David, he's awesome with words), so keeping my fingers and toes crossed for a job there at some point.
Now, next on my list is to draw that portrait for my partner in wow_artxchange, fix up the background for my flower girl and then get cracking on Eevia again... The poor thing is looking terrible at the moment, so I'm looking into a new design as well as possibly some sort of content management system (pondering Joomla). That or I'll try to code something, though that's bound to take some time as I'd need to more or less learn php from scratch. I do have a flowchart of sorts on what I'd (probably) need and what would influence what and such. Purely theoretically it's looking fairly simple. Theoretically. X)
Then there are all these small things I'd need to do around the house.... I still have unpacked boxes standing around >.>
BUT! Now it's weekend and I'm going to say screwall this weekend, which I haven't done for ages... It's going to be awesome <3
And there's the Apocalypse battle tomorrow, that's going to be interesting. Only negative about that is my indoor shoes broke yesterday which means a whole day standing on a hard floor, not good for mah feet or knees.
Now to decide whether to install WoW again or go play FFIX some more...
