Goth dammit...
I've run into a bump on my otherwise fairly smooth road of drawing. That bump is exaggerated expressions, a la anime. I can't for my life figure out to do 'em o.O; (see, I can do 'em with a keyboard but not with a pencil *cry* )
I saw a girl in wow_fanart who did an awesome "eyebrow-twitch" avatar and I want to do something similar for my community/class leader, a portrait with clean enough lines to animate an eyebrow twitching and with a sorta peeved expression. Alas I've been sketching and looking at every manga expression tutorial I could find through google but still can't get it right *grumbles*
I guess I'll bring the sketch pad and hope something clicks on the trip to Stockholm. But still, they're giving me a headache... Or well, expressions and feet are, currently.
Speaking of arting, I'm slowly, slowly getting towards the end of the book illustrations now, got to fine tune two pictures then there's just one more to go. THEN there's portfolio work to be done before the book faire. This'll be a hectic time, especially so if I can't get my arse in gear and actually do something. I got a gazillion things I want to draw currently, but my illustrations are getting in the way, effectively blocking me from my creative side.
Anyway, off I go, better get some sort of rest...
