*UGH*
I'm back from Maelstrom, and thoroughly exhausted. I'm sure some of that has to do with a 4 AM Saturday bedtime and a 3 AM Sunday bedtime....but that's the price you pay for a fabulous weekend. }:) It was a really good time, with laughter and a few tears in equal measure.
More details to follow - for now, I am just pleased I've got my scheduler up to date and am managing to tick things off my list. I knew it was back in full swing once I got home, and I wasn't really looking forward to it...this rollercoaster has got to stop. However, at least I've proved I can keep track of things and stay relatively on top of it. It was an extra long day at work too, as I am still working off some flexitime.
I have an offer letter, which will go back signed to New Job tomorrow. I have done my invoices. I have booked rooms for new clients. I have noted down the things I need to do, and am actively returning to my list to do them. Considering all that, the fact my house is a bit of a tip due mostly to post-event chaos really is a blip on the screen.
I have had tea, and a lovely meal with my husband - after which we were covered in grateful and happy cats. Now, hopefully to catch up on sleep. xoxox
