NHL predictions

This is for Skooch. I'm not putting it behind a cut, because quite frankly I don't care too.

Eastern Conference

Northeast Division.

1. Ottawa- The best team in the NHL on paper, hands down, no holes, and ready to go, unless Hasek is the Hasek of '03-'04.
2. Toronto- The Make Me Laughs are one of my least favourite teams in the league, but I think they will find a way to finish the season above Boston and Montreal.
3. Montreal- Theodore is a great goalie, and the crackdown on obstruction will help this pack of diving European Pussies get into the playoffs.
4. Boston- Good Team, but still not solid.
5. Buffalo- Look for them to make more noise next year, when Ryan Miller cements his hold on the number one goalie spot.

Southeast Division.

1. Tampa Bay Lightning- Too much talent up front, along with a solid defensive core means that they win thier 3 straight division title.
2. Atlanta- Starting to come along, but Kovalchuck holding out will hurt them.
3. Florida- Good team on paper, look for them to challenge for a playoff spot, but fall short.
4. Carolina- Too many holes, and noone there to fill them.
5. Washington- an even worse version of Carolina.

Atlantic Division.

1. Philidelphia- Too good, too strong.
2. New Jersey- Broduer should be able to guarentee these guys 30-35 wins.
3. Pittsburgh- Crosby will due great, but that fag Lemuix is still a fragile piece of shit.
4. Islanders- As long as Yashin is on the team, nothing good will come out of Long Island.
5. Rangers- Jager is like Yashin with two DICKs IN THE MOUTH, instead of one.

Playoff seeding

1.Ottawa
2.Philly
3.Tampa
4.Toronto
5.New Jersey
6.Pittsburgh
7.Montreal
8.Boston

Round one- Ottawa over Boston in 5., Philly over Montreal in 7, Tampa over Pittsburgh in 6, and Jersey over Toronto in 7.

Round Two- Ottawa over Jersey in 7, and Tampa over Philly in 6.

Round Three- Ottawa over Tampa in 5.

Eastern Conference Champs- Ottawa.

Western Conference.

Northwest Division.

1. Dallas- Look for Turco to have a great year.
2. San Jose- Great team, and will battle for the division title all the way till the end.
3. Anehiem- Getting better, but I don't think that Gigere is as good as everyone thought.
4. Phoenix- Getting a lot better, as long as they don't trade away any more talent.
5. L.A.- No goaltending and injury prone.

Central Division.

1. Nashville- I think this team is great and will ride Kariya, Sullivan, and Vokoun all the way to the division title.
2.Detroit- Getting older, but still challenging.
3. Columbus- Getting better, but they still need a center.
4. Chicago- Khabibulin will help, but won't help everything.
5. St. Louis- Just keep getting worse.

Northwest Division.

1. Vancouver- Always dominant in the regular season.
2. Calgary- Will make a race out of it.
3. Colorado- Will be better than expected.
4. Edmonton- Will barely miss the playoffs, again.
5. Minnesota- Great team, but they will need someone besides Gaborik to score goals.

Playoff Standings.

1.Vancouver
2.Dallas
3. Nashville
4.Detroit
5. Calgary
6. Colorado
7.San Jose
8.Anaheim

Playoff Predictions.

Round one- Vancouver over Anaheim in 4, San Jose over Dallas in 6, Colorado over Nashville in 5, Clagary over Detroit in 6.

Round Two- San Jose over Vancouver in 7, Calgary over Colorado in 6.

Round Three- Calgary over San Jose in 5.

Western Conference Champs- Calgary.

My Stanley Cup prediction is this: Ottawa over Calgary in 7 games. The series will be good, but an all Canadian final will cause the NHL to die in America.

HAVE A GREAT DAY!!!
