since I haven't updated since like september, i doubt anyone will see this, but these are some links to some of the best download sites for some of the best stories ever (yeah they are manga, but trust me, there are some jems worth your time.)

Gantz, Battle Royale, and Claymore are all extremely violent, but well writen, and very interesting. .
For a comedic manga, GTO is, without question, the best one i have ever found.
Naruto, One Piece, Trigun, Bleach are all VERY good action titles that aren't as dark or violent. . i would suggest naruto more than anything else listed here with the exception of maybe:
Death Note: its a very cool story about a kid who finds a book, and every time he writes someones name in it, they die. none of the charecters have predictable personalities, and the writing is superb. .
