PDF995: haven't tried it myself, but it looks less Star Trek than fPDF. If you understand PHP and codemonkey things, you might want to look at fPDF too. I don't know anyone who's gotten rich off Cafe Press

True dat. My CafePress store, which consists entirely of merch that says
or the affiliated slogan "I don't ignore the clitoris," has made me a grand total of $3.51.

(But then I set the prices at barely over the base price, so I only make a buck or two off each thing I sell, because I'm more interested in getting the slogan out than making money off it.)

I never thought about other means of creating PDFs, because I've been blessed with campus computers with broadband connections and the latest versions of Photoshop and InDesign. So my resume's a PDF, and my journalism clips, and suchlike.

Hmm. I should do a downloadable PDF brochure version of my graphic design portfolio.
