So he's here with me now.
I haven't given him a name yet.
He's a white schnauzer with an undocked tail. He's about 4-5 years old. He was used as a breeding dog until 2 days ago which means he had never felt sunshine or grass or gone on a walk or felt love or affection until he was rescued. He's got a bit of a skin condition but otherwise looks fine. I'll bring him to the vet for a more thorough checkup.
He was rather sprightly and so full of hope when I first met him at the void deck of a Eunos apartment block. Everything was a wonder. Throughout the whole car ride back, he was frozen and don't dared to move. I guess it's because it was probably the first time he was travelling without a crate.
The moment I placed him in the Rabbit Room, Hunter and Otis were fascinated and kept checking him out. No hostility. Everyone was nice. This dog has a very pleasant temperament. I was going to leave him in there until he kept whining unceasingly.
So I brought him to my room, to sleep in a playpen.
He's rather satiated and is resting comfortably on the free quilts that the nice staff from Hock Siong gave me.
I hope I can train him quite quickly so he can start mixing with the boys.
Paws crossed!
