I'm still compiling a list of music to send you....there will undoubtedly be some great stuff. The latest Mayhem CD is insane. I finally picked up a Streets CD, and it's also insane. It's that good.
I've also been obsessed with a single mp3 I have by a band called Hail Social. I tried to find their CD last time I went music shopping, but no one had heard of it....even though it came out in August, on Polyvinyl records (the same label as Rainer Maria, so it's a pretty big label).
Sweet! We have things to send you too. Our excuse is that we've both been working a ton. I have a birthday gift for my brother I need to send that's two months old. I'm terrible.
I've been in the mood for metal lately, so Mayem in particular will be awesome. Please be sure to send the Iron and Wine/Calexico because I don't have it. There's so much other stuff you've acquired that I want and can't recall because it's early and I'm still a zombie.
I wasn't able to find any info on amazon RE: the new Fall album...but I did find out that there is a new Arcturus album out, which surprises me. After the last album, I really don't see where they can go, but that's the point behind Arcturus...taking metal into uncharted regions. So, once I get paid next weekend, I'll be ordering that one, as well as an earlier Mayhem album -- A Grand Decleration of War -- which is supposed to the their 'experimental' album. Which should be interesting to hear.
The Iron & Wine will be included in the package I send you. Once I get back home (I'm still housesitting until tomorrow), I'll make a list of things I have which I can't remember if I've sent you or not, and you can tell me what you want.
will it be out in the States next week as well?
The 2 albums I'm really looking forward to next week are the new Joggers and the new Broken Social Scene. Both have been getting outstanding reviews.

I like Arcturus a lot; you gave me a copy of one their albums, which is amazing.
