Yesterday, I was supposed to get up at 5am, drive to a bus, get on a boat, and spend the whole day on a Rhine River tour. I made it to the waking up at 5am part, but then decided sleep was a much better idea. Several hours later I decided I couldn't stay at the barracks and needed to get out and see some sights. Fortunately Ludwigsburg was pretty close and the Residenzschloss, along with the gardens there seemed an interesting sight to see. It turned out to be very intertesting, and a Volksfest was going on right next door. So yeah, I missed my tour, but this was much better.
