So I think I am going to come home in Either July or August. I should have plenty of leave saved up by then so that I can stay for a good three weeks. It will be nice to be home for that long, especially during the summer. I'll have to buy a slip n slide because everyone knows the best times are often had on a slip n slide. I also just want to go swimming. I haven't been in a pool in over a year, and that should never happen to a person.

I went to Switzerland to shoot a story on the boy scouts last weekend. It was absolutely beautiful there. I stayed in the Alps and was in this little town in a valley between a bunch of huge mountains. The sky was so clear at night you could see every single star. I don't think I have ever seen a sky that bright before. It wasn't that cold out there either, which was kind of nice.

The radio show is going well. I have gotten a bunch of fan mail in my email account, so that's a pretty good sign. I didn't realize how much work it is to actually do a live radio show. There's a lot of show prep that goes into it. Of course I also have to have radio news produced every day and now I anchor the newscasts we broadcast as well. I'm getting a lot of exposure. Makes me feel important.
