Here in the Deutschland

So I've been here for about two weeks now and everything is going really well. The only problem I'm having is that I can't get on myspace anywhere here at the moment, and you know how life shattering that is. Anyways, I'm in between two cities called Heidelberg and Mannheim. I've been in Mannheim a lot lately and it is a really nice place to visit. Heidelberg I have not yet explored, but I need to because they have a huge castle and an awesome art museum. I'll make a stop there soon.
At the moment I am inprocessing, which takes about three weeks and means I can't really start working for a while. When I get done though, I will be hosting my own afternoon radio show here in Heidelberg. I'm pretty excited about that, and a little nervous. I think if you look up AFN Heidelberg on the internet you may be able to listen to it when I start broadcasting.
While that is what I will be doing in January, I have already voiced a few spots and today for the first time heard myself broadcasting a radio news update actually on the radio. It was interesting. I think this job is going to be a lot of fun, especially with how laid back it is here. That's one of the best parts about it. I talked to both the Commander and the Command Sergeant Major for AFN Europe yesterday, and we ended up talking about football for most of the time.
Anyways, I have to head out and get back to the station. I miss you guys a lot. I'll be home again next July or August, so I'll try and see as many of you then as I can. Surely some of you can get out here and let me show you around. It's good times. Alright, take care.
