Pope says some science shatters human dignity! First line of the article?
"Pope Benedict said on Thursday that embryonic stem cell research, artificial insemination and the prospect of human cloning had "shattered" human dignity."
So, it's not science that shatters human dignity, is it? Unless 'science' now means 'anything that is or can be done by humans which involves application of known principles'.
But 'Popes says some engineering shatters human dignity' or 'Pope says that some uses of nature shatters human dignity' while more accurate, doesn't have that delicious bite of religion v science, now does it?
