Wow, life is interesting. I've had a bipolar day. Well, two days I guess. I've been right down scraping the bottom of the barrel (for me, that is pretty bad - as you may recall if you know my history) and today I inexplicably went all perky. Manic, even. And I had a panic attack but it was one of those the rest of the world slows down ones, and you feel as though you're moving so fast and the world can't keep up, and you get nauseous.
Anyway, that isn't really what I'm posting about, as it's a bit intense if I keep going along those lines. I try not to do that to my adoring public.
The BIG thing is that several things have come together to make my near future a bit brighter...
1. Ally is getting married in less than a fortnight
2. As a result, Mum is coming this Friday and Dad next Wednesday.
3. The Swannies beat the dastardly Eagles
4. As a result, they have the home prelim final against either the Dees or Dockers, the night before my sister becomes Mrs Ally Garrad
5. My entire family are Swans supporters (this actually includes my Grandma, who was also converted by my time in the game, and Mum, and Ally, and Andy, and Dad who growing up and 'til he was over 40 went for St Kilda).
so, 6. is that M+D, Ally, Andy and I are going to go to the prelim final, as a sort of...wedding warm up. You know, to get their voices nicely prepared for the whole vows thing. And, get this, the absolute best part for a broke uni student - M+D are paying. Which considering the astronomical prices is the only way I'd be able to go.
But if'n you ask me, that's pretty darned awesome. A+A said they were going, even if it meant writing their vows on little chalkboards on Saturday. Teehee.
On the downside...in addition to assignments, I'm apparently making a speech at the wedding. D'oh. Ah well, every silver lining has a cloud, I guess.
