Flame Trees - Cold Chisel. This is one of my absolute favourite songs of all time, and a very good one to listen to when at either end of the spectrum (happy/depressed) or anywhere in between, which is rare. I love it.
Freak - Silverchair. Does anyone else remember the clip?[edit: I just looked up the clip on google, and turns out it ws number 79 on the VH top-100 Aussie clips of all time...] Anyway, it's a good song, and fun to sing, listen or chill with.
Four Walls - Cold Chisel. Yes, I know, there are two Chisel songs on the list. Deal with it my friends. Four Walls is somewhat depressing, but quirkily so, and a quality song.
Free Speech For The Dumb - Metallica. It's classic. Come on. One of the most lyrically complex songs EVER. I mean, who can remember all those words: Free, speech, for, the, dumb, fucking. It's not the most impressive song on the surface, but if you delve into the deeper meaning it is actually surprisingly thoughtful.
Hmmm tossing up between Fear - Disturbed, Fight For All The Wrong Reasons - Nickleback and F U Right Back (aka FURB) - Frankee - Working from last to first, FURB was one of those things that was hilarious because people just ran with it, infamy as a marketing tool...We've all been (well, most of us) where FFATWR (Can't be arsed typing the whole name, yet I do an explanation) is. Though I've more been at enjoying pissing people off just for the sake of it... And Fear isn't anywhere near Disturbed's best, but I'm putting it in the mix just because I want to make sure they get into better circulation (though they have sold over 5mil albums worldwide) so people won't go 'Disturbed? Who? Are they some crazy deathmetal band?'. Officially, I think I shall go with FFATWR, because a like all the activities mentioned, and have very definitely experienced the fuckupedness element.
So, who is brave enough to try (

PS went to Uni's GF today, won both, then because I was there and it was there went to the Roosters-Saints league game. And I'm going to the Swannies tomorrow (one of my bday presents). So, when will I do my assignments? Some other time, I say!
