Today I got a letter from the Office of Multicultural Affairs and the Minority Student Mentoring Program of WSU inviting me, on account of my 3.5 GPA, to the "Students of Color Academic Achievement Awards Ceremony".
What? Thanks, I guess...
In other news, if you wish to remain my friend, you will buy me one of these within the next 24 hours.
Also, the project formely known as Versailles (thanks to this dumb bitch) is still making slow progress. Matt and I wrote vocal melodies to a couple of the songs and now I'm just working on lyrics. Add drums and they'll be basically done. Live band, anyone? We need guitar and bass and probably a drummer.
While I'm talking about bands, I might as well mention this: Paul has left Sans Napoleon, and we're now looking for replacements. If we can't find anyone, we'll continue as a 4 piece. If you want to try out, let me know. Must have transportation, sufficient (good-sounding) gear to play shows, be available to go on tour, and just really know how to play.
