Ungh -
Party Friday night after gettin' chewed out by work and school superiors for general unpunctual-ness due to conflicting obligations from both fronts. Party was nice: dancing, booze, boozed conversation, a nap before leaving for Denny's, where I ate the dankest, grayest, gnarliest steak I've ever come across. Kind of like a Lucian Freud painting, but with even less color.  Given my delirium and the circumstances, and a little extra A1, it was fucking delicious.  Tore off my contacts because they start dissolving my eyeballs come 16 hours of wear.  Got a little more sleep at a friend's house, woke up to gorge some more at Eddie's Cafe (the porkchop and eggs come recommended, the chops a healthy brown color and unburnt - much better than Denny's).  Came late to a 5:00 meeting involving a possible animation job with an email-friend from Cal.  The entrance to the place looks like an exterior from Reservoir Dogs - sunbleached and barren Mission District buildings - but the inside of the studio is awesome.  Super-cavernous, marble-white walls, editing equipment everywhere, and office space in the rafters.  I finally meet Jigar face to face.  His spiky hair and para-military shirt make him look like a kid version of Fidel Castro 'cept he's South Asian.  He starts showing me the ideas for the project, and it's apparent that I CANT SEE A FUCKING THING because I'm not wearing any contacts or glasses.  Meeting otherwise continues pretty smoothly, with my having to squint at everything from two inches.  The project isn't at all involved with Jigar's place of work - we'd just be using the equipment there on his downtime.  It's actually a UCB deal, wherein Jigar is in charge of compiling a "welcome to Berkeley" sort of DVD for incoming freshmen.  Should be fun.
I tried to redesign my site some.  so far I've come up with new sketchbook and links pages:
