georgiadixie75's graduation fete yesterday was wonderful (even in the face of poor attendedance by her friends) One of the best steaks I've ever had. Congrats, Chassis Dega! Youze grajeyated!
I'm at work currently. The ladies are belting out "Delta Dawn" (what's that flower you've got on?) while I think abuot how shitty work is treating it's employees right now. My cnotract ends exactly 2 weeks from today. As of right now: NO ONE IN PRODUCTION HAS A NEW CONTRACT FOR NEXT SEASON which begins sometime in mid september. They're treating their employees like shit and here's why: The higher-ups dragged their feet in presenting new contracts because they were afraid employees not being asked back for next season would bail before the end of their current contract. They've waited until the final shows of the season were opened before even considering issunig contracts for the '06-'07 season. This is an example of terrible business practice: they are treating their entire lower teir work force like absolute shit. The worst part? they've stung us along too long for us to seek other theatrical work since most other theatres have finished all their hiring for '06-'07.
