I'm going to post this guy on a couple of forums for some final feedback -- but I think he's finally ready to make his appearance on eBay. I have to say that I'm glad to have the project completed.
Each piece has a rare earth magnet embedded in it. This allows for any of the pieces in the first photo to be combined on either of the bodies -- so that players aren't stuck with *my* choice of weapons. They can mix and match to suit their actual army list and have the general they actually want.
The project was a lot of fun and I learned a lot about embedding magnets in models -- and already have another magnetic plastic soldier in the works. This time back to sci-fi.
Anyway, I thought I'd share it here for the folks that have been interested in what I've been playing with. You can click through the image if you want to see a larger version. For scale the standing body, with the base, is 1.25" tall -- without his head, of course.
