A new category for country music
After watching as much of the CMAs as I could tolerate last night, I think it's a fair observation that country music has added a category I can only refer to as "Bubble Gum" country. BGC.
I'll say no more out of respect for a pal and sometimes co-worker who I suspect gets kinda giggly over some of the, er, ahem, "artistes" that would fall into this new niche. No disrespect intended; as it has been said, "it's all about the Benjamins", or, "show me the money!"
