is a film that has Peter Jackson's name on it and that is the only reason it got my attention. A friend who saw it said it was worth seeing if I could make it through the first reel.
I saw it last week and am glad I was given the caveat, 'cause I was set for walkin' out three or four times during the first forty-five minutes. But I suffered through it and am glad I stayed. Worth seeing if you can tolerate such a confusticated beginning.
Note to PJ: if you're going to lend your name to a film, make sure you lend a good editor . . . and a steady'A' camera operator . . . and make sure the director has a sense of what the story is about. And whatever happened to you filming The Hobbit?
Another note to PJ: have you ever thought of putting a 'B' as your middle initial? Then you'd be PBJ . . . get it? PB&J?!
Heh heh . . .
"Nay, I can gleek upon occasion."
