[The feed opens on a young man with inordinately spikey hair who appears terrified, sweaty, and quite unaware of the fact that he's being recorded. For a moment, he just stands there, drinking in his surroundings.]

H-Haha, this isn't a very funny joke, Mr. Wright...Does playing poker even pay enough to pull off something elaborate as this?

Um. Are you okay, Sir? [Silence.]

Oh! I'm Yukiko Amagi, it's nice to meet you [can't forget to introduce herself again].

Oh, yeah--I'm...I'm fine!

...W-Well, that's not entirely true. I'm not sure where I am...

[Straightens up a bit when she introduces herself, though, so he can reply in turn. He sounds a bit more like a lawyer now, though his voice still cracks slightly.]

I'm Apollo Justice, attorney at law. It's nice to meet you! Or, it would be, if I knew what was going on.

I can't really help you there... I'm new here myself. You should find a safe place to go, though. It's dangerous outside.

Oh, wow, you're a lawyer? That must be tough.

D-Dangerous? What do you mean by that?

[Congratulations--you've distracted him from his terror just a bit with your discussion of his profession.]

Yeah, I guess you could say that. It's really rewarding, though.

There are monsters. Someone told me that there are ones that spit poison, so you should be careful, Mr. Apollo.

[She's actually quite interested.] Which one are you? Defense or prosecution?

Monsters that spit poison? Y-You're joking, right...? If it is a joke, it's in bad taste.

I'm a defence attorney. It's my job to protect innocent people, I guess you could say.

[Brb flashing his shiney attorney's badge at you proudly.]

Testunosuke-san said so. He's been here longer than me, so it must be true... [She's worried herself] But don't worry, I'm sure you'll be fine! [She isn't.]

That's so great, Mr. Apollo. I wish I could do something like that. It must be nice to help all those people...

I hope you don't protect the guilty ones, though.

Ah, right, yeah! I-I'm fine! [Yes, he says that more than he should when he's unsure of himself.]

It is! I mean, it's a good feeling to see an innocent person go free after being wrongly accused, especially when I've defended them.

[At a bit of a loss here--he hasn't defended a guilty person yet, but--]

W-Well, everyone I've helped so far has been innocent, but I guess there's no way of knowing until the trial's over, right? Though I guess I would be able to perceive a person's guilt or innocence to begin with...

Oh, they have? That's good... the law can be unfair sometimes. I'm sure you know.

Yeah, it can be...especially that trial...

B-But I always make sure that justice prevails!
