Hey! A post! I'm alive!
I decided that I needed some changes, and my job was making me incredibly miserable... so I asked to be laid off. I was told that they couldn't do that, so I gave notice of my resignation. My last day here (Metavante/FIS) is 10/22/2010.
I plan on taking a trip to Albuquerque to see my folks, and then up to Seattle for the wedding of a good friend/ex boyfriend.
I feel like I'm going a little crazy, but it will be amazing to just have a change of scenery for a bit, clear my head, music loud with windows down.
I came to a realization a few weeks ago, that I was brought up in an environment filled with worry, fear, and guilt. My mom is the MASTER of the 'What If?' game, and I need to just learn to take things as they come instead of fearing every possible outcome.
The future will be fine. The worst thing that can happen is either I end up living in my car, or I move to Albuquerque and pitch a tent in my parents back yard.
Feels like a ton of weight has been lifted from my shoulders.
