(no subject)
Hey! My first post in quite a while!
I'm getting over a bad cold/flu/something that had me out of work this past Thursday and Friday. Tomorrow should be interesting.
I now work for Fidelity, as the 'merger' is complete as of 10/01/09 - Metavante RIP.
My body may be mad at me, but I went to Chicago last night to see Fever Ray in concert. It was the most intense/emotional/spooky/pagan concert I've ever seen. This was the first concert I've been to since I lived in Philly. I stepped way outside my comfort bubble to do this - drive to Chicago, go to a bar and not get smashed, hang out with not my usual crowd. Was completely amazing. Totally worth the upset stomach today :-)
I'm on some new meds for anxiety/depression/pain and so far so good! This could be the start of something great. My fingers are crossed.
Hoping to travel somewhere for Thanksgiving. Would love to see my parents - my dad offered to fly me to Albuquerque for a few days. May end up driving to see Dave's mom in Raleigh/Durham. I would probably get to see my sister if that happened. It's all up in the air for now.
It's Sunday night and I'm wiped. Gonna try to eat some dinner and then get some solid sleep.
