a-holes and crap circles
Today is already going well. Some jackass in a slightly smashed honda accord blew by me at 100 mph on my way to work this morning. I drive 40 miles on the interstate to get to work and I have grown to hate reckless drivers. But lo! The jackass was pulled over by the CHP a mere 20 miles later! I was thrilled. When I was a teenager I hated having the highway patrol around, now I want them around all the time to bust a-hole drivers.
I got to fly around in a little plane yesterday to photograph crop circles. Someone made a pretty complex set of crop circles in a wheat field about 15 miles away that we wrote about last week. It was discovered the other day, though, that another set of smaller circles had been made in a corn field right outside of town. They turned out to be sad little specimens. There were about four circles of various sizes that didn't even line up straight. Plus, various corn stalks had stood back up giving it a bushy, disheveled look. The pilot said the aliens must have been drunk and our city editor called them "Crap Circles". Oh well. I want to believe in aliens making crop circles but I don't think they came out here to Solano County.
