Despite all the stories I've heard about last week and everything that went on, it still seems to me like the City hasn't really changed. I'm sure there have been a few arrivals and a few departures, but it seems very much like I left it. That's how it always seems to work here: chaos erupts, but everything falls back into place at the end. I

Actually, no. It was Lord Ciel who accused me. Those others from my world seem to find it amusing, though.

From the same motherland, judging by your shared status. Maybe he was envious of your good fortune of a short vacation he didn't have. Hmpf. What a manner of tantrum it must have been to accuse you from murder.

I suppose it could be a tantrum. He says that these murders he's been following stopped when I left. I should like to point out that the events of last week would have probably put a stop to any murderer and my leaving the City bears no connection to this pause in the murders.

I'd also like to say that since my return, there haven't been any murders either.

Maybe the murderer became a zombie. Didn't the great detective ever consider that possibility?
