... the end of my rookie year.

Saturday, June 10th, marked the 1 Year Anniversary of the weekend that I made my professional wrestling debut. The Northern Wrestling Federation was at it's home base at BoneKrusher's in Cincinnati, OH and I was looking forward to beating someone's ass.

So I'm scheduled to wrestle Jay Donaldson. This guy was one of my very first opponents. That was nearly a year ago. I couldn't beat the guy back then. I was new and he was on the heals of the NWF Champion! But Jay has had a knee injury that kept him out of a wrestling ring for 9-10 months! Me... I've just been getting hot! So I was in high hopes. I really wasn't expecting Jay to be as good as he was last night... and to be honest, he may be even better than he was BEFORE the injury! Needless to say, I lost the match.

But when I shook most of the pain off and joined Slick Rick in the commentary booth for a match later in the evening between my tag team partner, Christopher Micheal Lotus, and one our arch rivals, one half of the NWF Tag Team Champions, Tony Bryant. Lotus could have easily won this match, but we knew Bryant's partner, Tiny Tim, wasn't at BoneKrusher's so we had a little something planned. I hit the ring with a pair of Handcuffs and knocked that stupid Tony Bryant for a loop. Lotus got DQ'd, but who cares? I handcuffed Bryant to the ropes and Lotus and myself put a beating on Bryant. TNT - we're coming for those belts! In just one week, you guys step into our territory, and Handcuff Match, and we're leaving as NWF Tag Team Champions!
