Here we go, ladies, gentlemen, and other. I am officially making my first new entry in my Livejournal from my new home: the campus of Oberlin College. That's right, this edition of my madness coming to you straight from the Flyover Country swing state that's high in the middle and round at both ends: Ohio! And I'm already having a total blast! The campus is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the people are wonderful. I knew for certain I was going to love it when I approached two upperclassmen, who reacted thusly to hearing my name:

"Dude! You're an opera character! A BADASS opera character!"

Then we got into a discussion about theatre and drag. Not necessarily in that order.
