As if you didn't already know...
I am a total dork.
This should not come as a surprise to any of you. I stood outside of a store at 6AM to wait for the store to open so I could get a Wii they day they came out. I send out Sacdin messages (It's like missile capsule E-mail) to the entire wing with Sudoku puzzles. (Yes, I built the grid by hand) If you looked up the word dork in a dictionary, you'd probably see me there.
With that being said, it should also be clear that I am a fan of They Might Be Giants. If you don't know who they are, I am ashamed to call you my friend. Obviously you are not a dork as well. Let me know and I will unfriend you. On Sunday, September 23rd, TMBG are coming (is coming??) to Missoula. I have not been to a concert since probably sometime in the spring in 2004. I don't recall going to a show while I was in California and I haven't seen anything since we got up to Montana. (Enceladus, God rest their souls, and Sloshed Bucklers don't quite count. They're local guys and friends of mine.)
So, Corrie willing, I'll be going to Missoula for the show on the 23rd. Might consider crashing down there for the night. We'll have to see how the money's looking. I wanting a new pair of boots and the new iPod when they announce the new one. (Should be September 5th.)
If anyone would like to go to the show, let me know and we can probably get a carpool going. It should be a good time. I'll have to download their latest album and catch up on older ones to refresh my memory. I'm rather excited about a band I'd actually be willing to see in concert come to Montana. It's been a long time coming.
