Because it's a school day and this one is dirtier than the last, I've placed today's "album cover nipple penetration" polls under a cut. You're welcome.

It seems extra naked to me, because my copy has always had the cover folded under. In explanation, when I was in high school, I found an original 4AD cassette copy in a mall in Albuquerque, NM. In order to carry it to hs and back every day on the d/l I folded under the cover.

Not so much for the school-- AFAIK those guys never would have made a big deal of it, tiny school, bunch of professor's kids, very liberal.
My carpool driver was pretty conservative, and the car was full enough of other kids that there was no way it was going to get not commented on. Doing that just meant that the track listing was on top instead, which suited me better. It's still somewhere in my house, with the cover folded under. STILL.

Now that I have an mp3 copy, it shows the cover every time I play it. At work. As much as I said in my last entry is a den of filthy mouthed pervs, I could actually get in trouble for it. But I can't really care.

Also I never register the Liz Phair cover as nudity. That's more of a 'wardrobe malfunction' and you can't really see much anyway.

Also also there are two Jane's Addiction album covers with nipples, but they're also from the wrong years. I can't remember whether I folded the cover of Ritual de lo Habitual under, but I did have the 'dirty' version of the album cover, for sure.

I've had "Exile In Guyville" for at least ten years and I never noticed the nipple until I was Google-hunting for contenders. And nipples don't usually get past me.

I only know because I heard some interview when the album originally came out. For sure it's emotionally naked. For sure that album caused me to get with the guy I was with before I got married. It's one of my favorite angry chick records of all time. Along with the demo/4 track version of Dry.

Also for album covers with nipples, Milla Jovovich put out an album as 'Milla' called 'The Divine Comedy' It actually IS from the mid 90s. It's not half bad, and is probably better than the Scarlett Johannsen Tom Waits album (which doesn't feature nudity). And naked Milla. Sort of.
