I don't think I've seen Ghost World on anyone else's. I don't understand this.

I guess not too many of these are movies you can watch with yer kids in the room.

Pretty much all but #7, really (and arguably #10).

Of all the Manic Pixie Dream Girls, who are almost invariably insane, I think Eternal Sunshine does the absolute least amount of "fetishizing." In Garden State and a million other movies like that, the girl's sheer wackiness and lust for life is presented as the ideal solution to all the male lead's problems. I don't think Clementine is presented as an ideal woman at all.... she's fun and affectionate, but also moody and resentful, and it doesn't pretend she's not. The first time I saw the movie, I didn't like her at all, and the entire relationship hit way too close to home for various reasons. (Granted I was hung over at the time, and if there's one movie you should never first see hung over, that one's at the top of the list.) But I think she seems both complicated and real, and, possibly for the only time ever, so does Jim Carrey ( ... )

We have maybe a 5% margin of error on loving the same movies, I think.

He's in, what, three of these?

You can't really have too much Mark Ruffalo.
