I've wanted to make this post for years. In my living room is a stack of stapled-together school notebook paper from the mid-to-late 80's, and on at least half of these pages, I drew pictures of blood geysers erupting from cartoon characters' eye sockets when I should have been learning my multiplication tables. I like the calm, beatific grin on the face of the poo falling out of Rump's rump.

Also, IT-nite-wise, The Couple Friends and Shayla have all decided that there is No Time To Do this. I still wanna, though. We could be a dynamic duo. Bonus: I could borrow a camera, and have absolutely no idea how to do editing!

Word! I was seeing the Newcombe-superhero as more of an arrogant vodka guzzler/Kryptonite-freebaser named "The Independant", who, in a buncha interview segments, mostly just talks a buncha shit on the major-label superheroes, in between temper tantrums and ego-freakouts, in order to keep the people-involved count down, but, hey, the more the merrier!

Let's still get together tomorrow and talk about it?

We can do both, for sure... that's pretty much how I saw his scenes, just with other superheroes in-between. The scale might be cut back once reality sinks in, but I'm feeling pretty ambitious about it. Anyway, yeah, I can meet tomorrow. MFP again?

Hey, I noticed the contented smile on the poop too, but after viewing mister_punchy's modern-day rendering of Rump, with his cascade of faceless, textural turds, I thought I was maybe just looking too hard for it, like shapes in a cloud.
