Arr! Finally I complete the editing and re-write on Not So Ordinary Day chapter 3! x_x

I was beginning to wonder when I'd ever manage to finish it... but, HAHA! Complete it is! The finished product can be found on my Fanfiction.net account located right over here.

So in order to celebrate this accomplishment, shall I do a silly little dance? Nay! I shall instead post up another one of my pointless spam ficlets, which may or may not see some fleshing out at a later point in time. In the meantime, have at it!

Gods and Goddesses were purported through the annals of
history to be flawless, the very epitome of perfection. To
refer to someone as having "godly abilities" or having the
"attributes of a goddess" would be considered a flattering
compliment. Any witness to the example taking place at the
moment might take such words as being a blunt derision.

The shrill squeal of break pads grinding against metal
preceded the ever-distinctive "Oof!" of body hitting dirt.
It was a testament to determination and uncoordinated grace
that all this was quickly becoming a common part of the
park scenery. Like a looping track on a music player it
went on and on without fail, or success in this case.

Her name was Skuld.

*wobble wobble thud*

Her rank was Second Class with a Limited License.

*screech rattle smack*

Her station was that of the Goddess of the Future.

*squeak squeak klunk splat*

Her current position was a crash position. She held an
elegant I-struck-the-ground-hard pose that would make any
mime seethe jealously. The way her eyes spun dizzily in
uncanny synch with the front wheel of the bike sprawled
across her back took some skill. Sadly, none of it
involved being able to ride the accursed device.

Skuld made no effort to get up, choosing instead to pick up
the pieces of her broken ego and pride instead. The sun
was blazing, the cicadas were buzzing, and there was a cup
of vanilla ice cream near her head.

How cruel her imagination was being to show her such a
delectable hallucination. Why, she could almost smell it,
taste it-- feel it? There was a sticky wet sensation on
her cheek and when she raised her hand to wipe it off, she
succeeded in smearing a liberal foundation of dirt and ice
cream goop on her face.

A long shadow was cast over her and a pleasant voice said,
"If you're not going to eat it, I'm taking it back."

Skuld craned her head upwards and caught a hold of a pair
of the most intensely blue eyes filled with mirth and the
promise of unbridled torment.

"I don't know you, but somehow I hate you already..." she
mumbled and got back a pleased smirk instead.
