Senior Rally today, today.

Senior Rally is basically the last school rally of the year where the Seniors are the first to walk out of the big gym (their last time doing it), and as they leave the Senior Section empty, the Juniors stand and take their place. Then, the Sophomores stand and go to take over the Junior Section, and finally the Frosh rise to fill in the place of the former-Sophs.

Have been going to that rally every year for the four years moshi's been here. And it was especially emotional last year. This year, the dancers kinda sucked, the speakers weren't very enthusiastic, and the "memories" video shown was...stupid. It was basically that, this, and then "okay, Seniors, leave now". Cue the exit of the gym. And there was a double line on either side of us where our teachers were waiting and applauding and congratulating us.

It still wasn't quite so emotional.... moshi always pictured walking out those doors with her friends.

But in sophomore year, Risa went to Japan; in Junior year, Phessa started going to Independence instead; and Shannon had to miss school that day to make it to a concert of her favorite band (Antic Cafe).

It's the intent that counts, maybe.

And then, when getting in line for a yearbook, the person who is in charge of moshi's line (the lines were sorted alphabetically) is the one teacher that moshi HATES: Mrs. Reed. Screw privacy and screw being mature. Who the fuck reads this shit, anyway?

Well, whatevs. Will remember this day. ...Maybe. ...Or something.
