Who's Who
Okay, I figured people would probably not realize who is in where when I mention my kids by nickname. So here's an organized list.
I swear though, sometimes I'm so tempted to give them numbers instead of nicknames if something doesn't stand out lol.
Anyway... In alphabetical order of their real names...
Base School
Teachers
- Basket-sensei (because he loves basketball and is the basketball adviser)
- SUPANAISU-sensei (lol super nice teacher cuz she's the nicest of the lot!)
- Hockey-sensei (LOVES HOCKEY! Also the girls hockey club adviser)
- Hanko-sensei (It took me a long time to come up with a name for him because though I talk to him a lot there's nothing that stood out except that he's a super super nice, interesting and friendly guy but no way was I using those words for nicknames lol. So anyway, I'm calling him "Hanko-sensei" because when he came back from his trip to China with his family, his omiyage (souvenir) for me was a Chinese hanko. Haha. Don't ask.)
- Yakyuubu-sensei (literally Baseball Club Teacher)
- Juku-sensei (because he used to teach at a cram school)
- Wao-sensei (because he ALWAYS says "Wao" even if he's just by himself lol)
- Kame-sensei (because of the Kame pic!)
- Strict-sensei (self-explanatory lol)
March 2009 Graduates
- Meiku-chan (she always looks like she's wearing make up! lol)
Current 3rd Years
- Grocery-chan (because I always go with her to the grocery where we sit and wait for her mom to pick her up)
- History-kun (his speech is about history lol)
- Help-chan (because the biggest impressions I've had of her was when she was helping Grocery-chan with her problems and then in turn, Grocery-chan and I helped her with her problems the week after lol)
- Otsukare-chan (lol cuz she works so hard with a lot of things!)
- Genkii-chan (NUFF SED! XD)
- Raion-kun (likes to do the Lion Dance)
- Idol-kun (because he is my base school's Idol. Everyone knows him and loves him! Formerly "Rapid-kun" because he was teasing Haru-kun's reading of "Rapid" as "Eh? Usagi??" XDDDDD Usagi = Rabbit)
- Kawaii-chan (because she is lol)
- Ramen-chan (lol because her name sounds like a kind of noodles)
- Sakkusu-chan (because she plays the sax and is in the brass band club)
- Pride-kun (full of it but not in the arrogant way)
- Tensai-kun (haha called himself that after learning the word in our class)
- Usagi-kun (SO CUTE like one)
- CA-chan (because she wants to be a cabin attendant)
- Blunt-kun (would call him "Sutoraito-kun" for 'straight' because that's what the Japanese call someone who's forward, but it makes it sound like he's the only non-gay person in the school so let's call him "Blunt-kun" lol)
- Haru-kun (because he likes Spring)
- Bday-chan (first student who I gave a bday present to)
- Umbrella-kun (because when I first met him, he asked to walk to school together and held up an umbrella over me, for us to share, even if it wasn't raining lol)
- Kaeritai-chan (literally "I want to go home" lol because she's always the first to go home from English Club, except when we watched Arashi on DVD lol)
- Anime-chan (cuz she looks like she's one of those cute girls that just stepped out of an anime!)
Current 2nd Years
- Misaki-chan (because that's what he says Otouto-kun's nickname for him is LOL)
- Otouto-kun (because he actually told me to think of him as my younger brother LMAO)
- Yasuko-chan (Yassu rabu!)
- EXILE-kun (because when I ask him about things, it always likes with that he likes EXILE and that he sings their songs in karaoke lol and he has no favorite song of theirs because he likes all of them lol)
- Nostrils-kun (because when we took purikura, he kept flaring his nostrils at the camera lol)
- Judo-kun (he's in the judo club and he kicked ass in last year's and this year's judo competition. Though I could call him Matsuri-kun because that's when I saw him and thought "ZOOOOMG!!!" for the first time. LOL)
Current 1st Years
- Monomane-kun (because I was told that he often does impersonations of people and that he's really good at it lol. He says he refuses to show me because it's embarrassing though lol)
- Adoresu-chan (because she ALWAYS changes her mail address. It's changed SO MANY TIMES. Back to the old one sometimes too! -.-)
- Skater-kun (because he loves his skateboard and he says he doesn't need a girlfriend because the skateboard is his girlfriend lol)
- Calibu-chan (because that is the nickname of the boy that she liked when we first met and she told me to just say it down the phone to him lol)
Visiting School

- Starbucks-sensei (because she has Starbucks goods and she LOVES Starbucks)
- Te-sensei (always talks with her hand on her mouth)
- Kabayo-sensei (because that's his nickname when he homestayed in the Philippines ROTFLMAO. It means "horse". AHAHAHHAA)
- Sheet-sensei (because if he tries to say "Sheet" or "Seat" it still sounds the same - "SHIT". I can't correct him though lol.
- ToDai-sensei (new name because found out she graduated from there. Old name was "Journal-sensei" because she's the one who checks 21HRs English Journals)
- Drama-sensei (because he loves to watch dramas lol)
- SatoRabu-sensei (because she's in love with Sato Takeru lol)
- Kyoto-sensei (which means vice principal)
March 2009 Graduates
- Contacts-kun (because he put on his contacts suddenly, instead of wearing his glasses and when I asked him if it was because he liked someone, he said yes, but was very shy about it lol and that it was a secret but also that he was surprised that I knew LOL)

- Facebook-chan (Because she's the first student to get Facebook XD)
- Jazz-chan (because of her sax)
Current 3rd Years

- Brassband-chan (first girl at my visiting school that I knew well that was in the brassband and invited me to their con too but couldn't go TT^TT)
- Shy-kun (because he's so shy! He hardly talks and when he does, it's in a very shy manner. Also he's very cute when he waves shyly haha.)

- Soccer-kun (because his speech last year was about soccer and he is the only second year student to place because the competition was between second and third year students and his placing is a big feat. Also he used to be in the soccer club before he was forced to retire because he's now a third year student.)
- Kyouho-kun (which means Speed Walker because he's the only speed walker in the school and he wins a lot of events)
- Hermione-kun (his character in the English Club skit)
- Gourmet-chan (ala speech contest)
- Riiko-chan (she loves Ohno and couldn't come up with a cute girly name with his so went with "Riida" instead lol)

- Rubiks-kun (because he's trying to solve ALL the Rubik's cubes and that was his specialty and party trick during English camp lol)
- Wanko-kun (because he's SOOOOOO CUTE and just reminds me of a puppy! But that nick is taken so I used the Japanese name lol)
- Michael-kun (LMAO because during English Camp he did Michael Jackson impersonations)
- Na-chan (because my friend has a similar name but with "na" at the end lol so I liked it that way. Couldn't think of a better nickname even if I hang out with her a lot)
- Gasp-chan (because of the line in the speech she did for the contest)
- Sleepy-kun (because during first year, all he did was sleep in class and never handed in any homework)
- Puppy-chan (reminds me of one)
- Hammer-kun (LMAO because he said on his exam that if he could meet any famous person, he'd want to meet MC Hammer and learn how to dance like him. LOL. Later, in English camp, I asked him to dance MC Hammer-style and he did. SO HILARIOUS! He also showed me that he had the video on his iPhone. ROTFLMAO. He said he learned it from his dad.)
