LOVE IT. I always thought it seemed like the Old World was communist, and YES the characters went on HUGE monologues for pages at a time regarding philosophy and how communism was an evil, evil thing. Did he ever work in some real-world opinions into his series...and people say fantasy isn't based on real life?!
