good start to my weekend. picked up ashley after school to go shopping. i've hardly ever gotten to spend time with just ashley, so that was nice. it was almost weird though because i'm so used to more people being around. we hit up the altamonte mall and ross. our combined total was several shirts, a belt, bracelets, a pin, and a pair of shoes. went to dallas' because he and zack were hungry. jon arrived moments later. we were gonna take my car to boston market, but things got stupid. jon decided to ignore me for no apparent reason, and zack was being hostile toward ashley. thus, the sexes were split. ashley jumped in my car, and we screeched away. after a few minutes, dallas called from starbucks. he wanted to come with the girls. we swung by, picked him up, and headed out to the boston market on 17-92. jon and zack must've gotten bored because they called a bit later to meet up with us. they initially went to the wrong boston market, though. hahha. when they finally got there, we sat at a table playing stupid question games. jon soon left to got to a party, and zack had parental trouble, so we took him home. dallas, ashley, and i drove back to winter park for a visit to borders. got some new promo posters for my room (modest mouse and the darkness). jon reunited with us there because apparently his party got boring. took a short walk around winter park village. jon and ashley then left for further adventures, and i took dallas home. picked up some mcflurries from mcdonald's for me and my mom. they were mmmm mmmmm good.

on another less-happy note, my grandma is very sick in the hospital. she has a broken hip, a broken elbow, pneumonia, and possibly-fatal blood clots. my grandpa is absolutely falling apart. they've been married for almost sixty years, and he is just beside himself. when my grandma fell last week up in biloxi, mississippi, she refused to take the ambulance to the local hospital. instead, my grandpa had to drive her nine hours back to orlando. she was sitting in the passenger seat with broken bones the entire time, but she wouldn't show her pain because she didn't want my grandpa to worry. i can't even imagine. i admire her strength at being able to do that. she's now had hip replacement surgery, and they'll be operating again tomorrow for the blood clots. i love her so much, and i'm very concerned as to what will happen. my mom's been visiting all week, but i haven't gotten a chance to see her yet. therefore, i'll be going up tomorrow and sunday. keep her in your thoughts?
