it took a year of denial, hoping that what i knew could never be true i'm sorry it took this long to face it. Ashley there are so many things i wish i could tell you but now its too late. one day you will hear my words about how you played such a major role in my life and how i could never have gotten through some really rough times without you and chisa. I miss you so much I hope that you know that, I also hope that you know how much you were loved by all of us. i pray that we will see each other again someday. i will always love you. thank you for everything i never got a chance to thank you for. sleep well.

Obituary: Charnesky, Ashley Nikole, 18, of Washington, Illinios and formerly of Nanty Glo, died January 23, 2005 in Illinios as a result of a severe asthma attack. Born May 22, 1986 in Johnstown, daughter of James R. Charnesky and Terry (Edwards) Franklin. Survived by father, of Washington, Illinios; mother, of Greenfield, Massachucetts; step-mother Sara Charnesky, Washington, Illinios; paternal grandparents James and Betty Charnesky, Nanty Glo; paternal great-grandfather Edward Bachota, Twin Rocks; maternal grandparents Magda Edwards, Nanty Glo and Ronald Edwards, Johnstown; step-sister Beth Stoecker and her husband Doug; step-brother Brian Ogler; half-brother Ephraim Franklin and half-sisters Danielle & Emily Franklin. Also several aunts, uncles, cousins and special friend Kenneth Davis. Friends will be received from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., Friday, at the Askew-Houser Funeral Homes, Inc., Nanty Glo, where Parastas will be sung at 8:00 p.m. Friday evening. Brief Service at 9:30 a.m., on Saturday at the funeral home, followed by Divine Liturgy at Holy Ascension Greek Orthodox Church, Nanty Glo, the Very Rev. Fr. George Hnatko, officiating.
