finally up and running
So I finally got internet in my new place. It's way cool to be online, since it's almost my ONLY form of contact with anyone in the world.
I'm out here in the middle of nowhere, I am renting a 2 bedroom house on a 5 acre farm in Bosque, New Mexico. I am on the out-skirts of a city called Belen, which only has 6,900 population! It is pretty cool to have so much land, my dogs love it and I'm thinking of getting a LLAMA!
Anyway, at least my cell phone gets reception here. It's slowly coming along and looking like a nice place... I got some furniture moved in and have started to put things away. Its very quiet during the day and super dark at night with a view of the stars you wouldnt believe. The view from my front yard is unbelievable, mesas as far as the eye can see and the sun sets amongst them, causing a very colorful art-like effect.
My back yard is huge and we have an irrigation ditch that empties into a trough-type thing that flows down my whole yard and into the big pasture. I really need to take some pictures, but I am working 2 jobs... I just got a part-time at UPS (only 3 hrs a day) to ensure me being kept busy. Remember, it can get very quiet and lonely out here. Now that I'm online though, it's def not so bad. We can only get dial up here too which sucks, but oh well.
Anyway, just wanted to update ya'll. My life is much more relaxed, and I am much happier than when I was in California. Those who know me well probably cant believe im saying that.
I never knew how much stress and shit was in my life until I left it all and started over in the middle of nowhere.
