speed update
okay so, its been a damn long time, i haven't written in this forever because most of the people i want to fill in on my life, are a part of it. but for now im killing time in the library until jay comes to pick me up. i could have walked back up to the apartment, but its too damn cold. fucking weather channel telling me its 55 outside, well its my fault for believing it.
anyway, so things went crazy for a while. basically from august until well a week ago, i didnt know which end was up. between getting used to campus/apartment life again, classes, multiple movie shoots, my dad's wedding, moving houses back home, rocky horror, aaf, and trying to have a social life; yeah.
don't get me wrong, these past few months have been incredible. lets see, ill hit on each of these points one at a time. i fucking love my apartment. whether its just us hanging out, throwing a huge ass themed party (more on these later), or chilling with our pseduohousemates, it just fucking rocks.
classes started off sorta slow, and it doesnt help that i really enjoy most of them too. that got me into a sorta false sense of security. so i started looking for other ways to fill my time. well just when my scheduele filled up, classes picked up. i wanted to pull my hair out for a while, but now that things have calmed down, i somehow picked myself up and am actually doing really well in my classes. all my professors seem to like me, and i actually look forward to a few of my classes. oh well thats all boring.
ok, so are you shooting a movie soon? need an actor? cause apparently i'll work for anyone. without going too indepth on this, basically im just finishing up the last of three student movies i signed up for. fun times, but holy shit a lot of time commitment. not to mention the fact that not changing my hair color for long periods of time really gets to me.
my dad's wedding. well this actually encompasses a few things. this falls around fall break. to basically understand how i was feeling at this point in time, let me explain what fall break entailed for me: i just finised up my first and most time consuming movie, i finally got to dye my hair red, i had a break from classes and was gonna spend it partying with my friends, celebrating my grandpa's 90th b-day, and my dad and kathy's wedding. so yeah, umm again one at a time; taking my friends down to my cottage again was amazing. each time we've been there its always been a defining moment in the semester. we totally rock that house, and leave it looking better than we found it. i love taking people there cause honestly thats what its for. god i love it there. my grandpa's 90th b-day was great. the whole family was in town for the wedding already, so it was a great crowd. they showed some old home movies of my grandpa and hes the shit. he got a few gifts but i think it meant most to him to just have the whole family around. the wedding just rode on the good vibes we had going (not that the wine didnt help) but now we had 2 familys becoming one and the friends of both there. it was really something. i dont credit them enough, but i really love my family. we really stick by eachother in a way that im discovering is rare.
okay enough of that, so we also have a new house, its in a really cool part of town and its not like we moved to a different city. i havent had a chance to move into my new room, though most of my stuff is in there. its a ton bigger than my old room and even my room here. (ah, jays here, ill pick up where i left off when i get back to my room
