LJ is not letting me upload the new icon I made :|
Daaaay. D: Goodness.
Tomorrow I start work for longer hours fewer days a week. Excited? Not really. Especially if Michelle can't find anything for me to do. But at least I can go home afterwards D: And I'll have to go to Midtown and take my permit test sometime this week, too. Aaaugh.
But in other news, I'm getting pretty psyched for Harry Potter. I've started reading Order of the Phoenix (again), I can't wait for the movie, and I SUPER-can't-wait for the 7th book. Aaaah :)
Adds another thing to my reading list. D: Now it's OotP, Many Waters, Death Note, and Derelict Heaven.
*ooze*
P.S. - The Death Note anime is alright. Thusfar it is not as good as the manga, because a majority of the Death Note storyline is talking/scheming/little to no action, which makes sense to read, but leads to a semi-boring thing to watch. That, and a majority of the voice acting is annoying. All the chicks... bleeding ears, mate. L is OK, though, although pulling his voice off isn't difficult, since it's pretty monotone (although it would make me happy if the English version dub had him have a slight British accent. Always how I pictured him.) But Raito's is super-annoying. And what the fruck is his name, anyhow? Raito, or Light? I call him Raito because it sounds a little more badass than "Light". I mean, really, he's out to be evil and kill a kajillion people and they call him "Light". Oxymoron? I think yes. Anyway, it'll be interesting to compare the subbed vs. the dubbed.
Anyway, the opening to the anime is pretty badass, animation-wise. The themesong isn't really my thing, personally, though. And it gets stuck in your head. But the rest of the art is neat. The rest of the animation is pretty... "still", but then again, like I said, it's not really an action-y storyline.
Oh, and Ryuuku/Ryuk wins. Always. Shinigami. I love that word. Heehee.
Wow, that was longer than I anticipated.
