Good day today overall. Better than I expected. We added a few more scenes and overall increased the funny factor of our play. :3 I can't wait to see everyone in their costumes so I can make another chibi group picture X3
Man, the Axel x Roxas crap over on DA is getting to the unbearable point. That pairing is OVERKILL. I'm going to make something to make fun of it. Eventually. Soon. Bwahaha. I have so many little comic ideas. But I shouldn't do that until I have time.
And oh yeah - I'MMA DO A COMMISSION. Like, a real one! Like, not one for family! :D Yay! I'm so excited! ^____^
I think I should do lots and lots of art once Camp Schlatter is done. I can do some observational crap so I can start actually putting my portfolio together and then some other stuff... and then fun art, of course. ^^ Fun art is inevitable. And eventually I'll start going around asking artists in college already about portfolio tips. :D
I drew a really neat sketch of Pawn yesterday and I really like it. Maybe if I contemplate a background I'll make it a final piece. :3
So I'm thinking of having another contest. Except it'd be like a design contest. Like... so I've got my chess pieces, yeah? Well, like, the people could design an opposing chess team consisting of a King/Queen/Bishop/Pawn/Rook/Knight (1 of each, probably) and people could enter in as many categories as they'd like but one entry per category (i.e., they can do a Rook and a Knight but not 2 Knights). ^^ Then it's not like an "omg draw my characters" contest so I don't feel guilty, and it'd be cool to see other people's renditions of them. :3 The only thing I'm possibly concerned about are contest prizes. Cuz they'd have to be fully-fledged uber pictures most likely, and by the time the contest would end I'd be back in school and busy again... I dunno. Opinions?
